R&D Technician

At Exlabesa, we continue to grow and are looking to hire an R&D Technician to work on-site at our facilities in Campaña (Valga). If you are passionate about innovation, technical design and being part of international projects, this challenge is for you.

 

What will your mission be?

You will join the R&D team, actively contributing to the development of innovative aluminium solutions for the architecture sector:

  • Lead and manage new system development projects.
  • Design profiles, components and accessories from concept through to industrialisation.
  • Ensure deadlines and objectives are met for each project.
  • Validate prototypes and coordinate technical testing.
  • Analyse costs and optimise solutions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers in the development of hardware and components.
  • Prepare technical documentation: catalogues, manuals and specifications.
  • Manage patents and registrations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends through technology monitoring and attendance at events.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial Design) or Technical/Architectural Engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and industrialisation processes.
  • Experience or interest in 3D printing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Project).
  • Experience in the building envelope sector (windows, doors, façades, curtain walling).
  • Intermediate/advanced level of English.
