Exlabesa Flandria has allowed Exlabesa to strengthen its presence in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

The latest addition has been the acquisition of the Exlabesa Flandria factory in mid-2023. This French company, based in Warneton, near the city of Lille in the Nord department, has a history of over 50 years. Specialized in extrusion, machining, surface treatment, and recycling of aluminum profiles for the construction, industry, and transport sectors. It currently employs 170 workers. The purpose of this purchase, framed within Exlabesa’s international expansion strategy, is to boost the development and growth of the factory to consolidate its presence in northern Europe. Additionally, the company has an architectural business line focused on the development, extrusion, and marketing of high-value aluminum veranda, pergola, and home extension systems.

Thanks to its strategic position in northern France, on the border with Belgium, the acquisition of this factory has allowed the company to strengthen its direct presence in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, offering high-value-added products with the highest level of service in these markets.

Its facilities, covering more than 35,000 m², are equipped with two presses of ⌀ 8” and ⌀ 9” respectively. Furthermore, it has a machining center and a bending line that increase technical possibilities primarily focused on the construction sector.

Among its capabilities, there is a recycling center with aluminum smelting that has increased Exlabesa’s production capacity of low-carbon aluminum.
