Exlabesa Architecture at REBUILD 2026: leadership in sustainable building solutions
-
At Exlabesa Architecture, we have enjoyed a remarkable presence at REBUILD 2026, where our solutions were met with great interest from professionals across the industry.
-
With a proposal based on efficiency, industrialisation and design, we have strengthened our position as a benchmark in sustainable aluminium solutions.
During the REBUILD trade fair held at IFEMA Madrid from 24 to 26 March, architects, developers and technical professionals visited our stand in search of solutions that address the current challenges of the construction industry.
Beyond product presentation, we put forward a global vision aligned with the needs of the sector, where energy efficiency, process optimisation and design innovation took centre stage. This approach enabled us to demonstrate the strength of our solutions in meeting the demands of contemporary architecture.
Sustainability and circular construction at our REBUILD 2026 stand

Sustainability was one of the pillars of our presence at the fair. Through our RE-local 100 brand, we promote the use of 100% post-consumer recycled aluminium, verified by Bureau Veritas, guaranteeing the recycled origin of the material and actively contributing to reducing the environmental impact of construction. Thanks to this commitment, we achieve a carbon footprint of just 0.5 kg of CO₂ per kg of aluminium, reinforcing our dedication to decarbonising the sector.
Likewise, our systems incorporate Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), providing detailed, verified information on the life cycle of each system. This transparency enables architects and specifiers to make decisions based on sustainability criteria and environmental certifications, supporting a more responsible and future-oriented architecture.
A collaborative model in service of the developer
During our participation at REBUILD 2026, at Exlabesa Architecture we highlighted the Collaborative Agreement, a working model that is already part of how we understand our relationship with developers and which strengthens the development of every project.
This agreement has a clear objective: to deliver greater value to the developer and greater confidence at every stage of the project. Through this partnership, we connect the developer—whether residential or commercial—with our aluminium joinery brand and our exclusive network of certified Exlabesa Partner manufacturers and installers, ensuring a robust and fully aligned working ecosystem.
Thanks to this approach, projects progress with greater coherence and control. All phases are carried out with rigorous monitoring, including on-site supervision, always supported by a project manager who acts as a link between the different stakeholders, ensuring orderly execution in line with defined objectives.
The result is more efficient management, with guaranteed supply of recycled aluminium, transparent pricing, defined lead times, quality certifications and full regulatory compliance. A way of working that, at REBUILD 2026, aligned with the current needs of the sector and reinforces an approach based on coordination, trust and control in every decision.

Aluminium systems for contemporary architecture
Aluminium windows and internal doors: minimalist design and high performance
Among the solutions presented, the ARS-72 window stood out for its versatility as a hinged system available in visible sash, semi-concealed and concealed sash versions. Its design allows the visible section to be minimised, enhancing natural light and delivering a clean, contemporary aesthetic.
In the same vein, the ARS-77 Slim elevates the concept of minimalism, with ultra-slim profiles inspired by industrial design trends, combining a lightweight aesthetic with high thermal and airtight performance.
Indoors, the IDS-30 system generated strong interest thanks to its Quickfit assembly system, which simplifies the installation of doors and partitions, both fixed and movable. This solution optimises installation times and provides a highly valued industrial-inspired aesthetic in current projects.
Sliding systems: maximum light and large openings
Sliding solutions were one of the highlights of our stand. The CRS-140, Exlabesa’s flagship system, features a concealed central lock within the central sash’s reinforcement tube, eliminating visible lateral profiles and achieving a more refined aesthetic with a larger glazed surface. The result is increased natural light and a smoother integration with the outdoor environment.
Meanwhile, the CRS-155 LS offers an optimal solution for large openings, with a minimal-section sash, a flat bottom frame, a 50 mm central meeting stile and structural resistance of up to 400 kg per sash, enabling large-scale designs without compromising on design or safety.
The BRS-82 bi-folding door completes this range of solutions, facilitating the creation of open spaces thanks to its optimised design, with a reduced central joint of just 109 mm and a 15 mm flat threshold, promoting spatial continuity between interior and exterior.

Facades and exterior solutions at Rebuild

In the field of building envelopes, the ECW-50 curtain wall enables the development of lightweight, contemporary façades, with a visible section of just 50 mm in its structural frame, maximising glazing and natural light.
The EDW-160 decorative cladding stands out for its high aesthetic versatility, with multiple customisation options, including LED integration, allowing façades with a distinctive identity without compromising functionality. Meanwhile, ESC louvres, available in various geometries and sizes, help improve the building’s energy performance by regulating solar exposure and optimising indoor comfort.
In addition, the Glass Rail PRO balustrade system was showcased, offering six installation options and combining structural safety with maximum transparency, enhancing visual continuity and adding architectural value to outdoor spaces.
Through our participation at REBUILD 2026, at Exlabesa Architecture we have reaffirmed our commitment to developing solutions that integrate design, performance and sustainability. The strong interest shown by professionals confirms the relevance of our proposal and reinforces our role as a strategic partner in the transition towards more efficient and responsible architecture.
