Specification Consultant – Catalonia

Job Purpose

Exlabesa is looking to recruit a Specification Consultant for its Barcelona office, who will contribute directly to achieving annual sales targets in the Catalonia region, ensuring customer loyalty to our brand and the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Exlabesa systems are specified in building projects within the assigned area of Catalonia, organising and coordinating meetings with architectural practices, property developers and construction companies.
  • Provide consultancy and technical assistance to customers (metal fabricators, façade contractors) and specifiers (architects, engineers, property developers) throughout the different stages of projects.
  • Assess projects and prepare quotations, optimising materials to ensure competitive offers.
  • Prepare technical reports for projects.
  • Produce construction details and on-site junction details.
  • Calculate thermal transmittance and acoustic insulation.
  • Carry out structural calculations and dimensioning.

 

What Are We Looking For?

Previous experience is not essential: above all, we value your attitude, potential and willingness to learn.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Technical qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a similar field.
  • Proven proficiency and knowledge of AutoCAD.

 

The Following Will Be an Advantage:

  • Experience and knowledge of aluminium systems for architecture.
  • Previous contact with architectural practices, property developers and construction companies in the Catalonia region.
