Production Operator Grade 2

Your profile:

  • We will provide training if you are familiar with the metalworking industry and are a motivated, organised and committed person. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently as part of a team, while maintaining effective communication with different departments.

Your responsibilities:

  • The Production Operator Grade 2 carries out a range of tasks by operating automated machinery on a production line.
  • Performs duties in accordance with production and quality requirements, as well as health, safety and hygiene standards.

 

Your main duties:

  • Assist with cutting profiles using a saw.
  • Identify and locate defects in surface appearance, cutting length, etc.
  • Place profiles in baskets according to the established procedure.
  • Reject lengths that do not meet requirements and prepare them according to the established procedure (packages, bundles or containers).
  • Supply the machine with storage baskets using a hoist.
  • Keep the work area tidy (materials, accessories, etc.).
  • Clean baskets using a compressed air gun.
  • Adjust the machine according to the order specifications.
  • Check product conformity and complete the quality control sheet.
  • Detect, locate and separate visual and geometric defects.
  • Manage and identify production samples.
  • Record activity data on the production order, both on paper and electronically using the AS400 system.
