Exlabesa attends the Malaga Contract Forum of Architecture and Business for architecture and construction professionals
  • Arquitectura y Empresa brings together professionals from the architecture sector at the first forum of the year.
  • Exlabesa has participated together with architects and interior designers from the area, as well as prescribers from the construction sector.

The first Architecture and Business Contract Forum of 2024 took place on February 15th at the Palacio de Congresos de Torremolinos in Malaga. Exlabesa was present at this event of national interest to present the latest launches in aluminium systems for architecture.

The organisers of this networking event have chosen the Palacio de Congresos de Torremolinos for its unique design and for being a symbolic place in the city. This brutalist-style building was inaugurated in 1968 and designed by architects Rafael de La-Hoz and Gerardo Olivares James. Throughout the day, AyE brought together more than 140 professionals from architecture and interior design studios, as well as companies from the construction sector.

Mayte Estrada, Head of Technical Office and Prescription, and Nuria Benedicto, Projects and Works Technician for the Andalusia area, came to present Exlabesa’s aluminium systems for architecture. This forum is the perfect setting to present not only Exlabesa’s latest innovations in aluminium carpentry, but also to see the interest in the different types of systems and to keep track of the latest developments in terms of design and technical performance.

In this sense, sliding doors and windows were undoubtedly the main protagonists of the day at the Exlabesa stand. And it is not surprising, as these systems feature aluminium profiles with minimalist aesthetics that let in the maximum amount of light and connect the interior with the exterior, something that is certainly crucial in most projects, not only for Exlabesa but also for many of the professionals who came to inquire about them and make consultations.

Among the sliding windows and doors, the CRS-140 minimalist sliding system is one of the most innovative launches made by Exlabesa in recent years, offering invisible horizontal profiles and a multitude of advanced solutions. In addition, other Exlabesa systems such as the S-LIM sliding system attracted the attention of the attendees both for its adaptability and aesthetics and for its excellent performance in terms of acoustic attenuation.

On the other hand, we were also able to showcase the latest advances in circular building and sustainability, one of Exlabesa’s latest challenges to promote circularity through aluminium recycling. Exlabesa has the largest capacities in the market in terms of aluminium recycling, which allows us to offer profiles manufactured with 100% post-consumer aluminium.
