Mallorquina
The Mallorquina shutters are part of the characteristic architectural landscape of the Mediterranean as they are the best solution to protect the interior from light and heat, in addition to regulating the visual connection with the exterior. Exlabesa’s Mallorquina system is a shutter that allows this double function to be achieved through aluminium louvers.
Usually horizontal, these louvers receive the sun’s rays and dissipate their energy on the outside of the facade, before reaching the opening. Their frames can be hinged, sliding or folding, and the louvers, in turn, can be fixed or adjustable.
- Possibility of fixed, hinged, sliding or folding frames
- Possibility of fixed or adjustable slats

Design
The design of the Mallorquina system is fully customizable, thus achieving unique results, adapted to the requirements of each project.
Features
The Mallorquina is a shutter formed by aluminium slats, usually horizontal. These receive the sun’s rays and dissipate their energy on the outside of the façade before reaching the opening.
Performance
The Mallorquina system not only regulates the visual connection between the interior and exterior of a house, but also protects the interior from the sun and heat. It also guarantees the highest standards of functionality thanks to its careful configuration.
Possibilities
Being a customizable system, it allows the installation of fixed, hinged, sliding or folding frames, as well as offering the option of installing fixed or adjustable louvers. It can also be designed as a static, sliding or folding structure.
