Production Operator Grade 2

Your missions:

  • The Production Operator Grade 2 carries out a range of operations by operating automated machines on a production line.
  • They work in accordance with production and quality requirements, as well as health and safety standards.

 

Your key activities:

  • Assisting with cutting profiles.
  • Detecting and identifying surface defects, cutting length issues, etc.
  • Placing profiles into baskets following procedures.
  • Disposing of non-conforming lengths and packaging them according to procedures (bundles, bales, containers).
  • Feeding the machine with packaging baskets using a hoist.
  • Keeping the work area tidy (equipment, accessories, etc.).
  • Blowing out baskets using an air gun.
  • Adjusting machines according to order specifications.
  • Checking product conformity and completing quality check sheets.
  • Detecting, identifying and removing defects in appearance and geometry.
  • Managing and identifying production samples.
  • Recording activity data on the production order and in the AS400 system.

 

Your profile:

  • Training will be provided if you are familiar with the metallurgical environment and are motivated, organised and hardworking.
  • This role is suitable if you enjoy working independently within a team while interacting with different departments.
  • This is a progressive position depending on your skills and values.
