Level 2 Forklift Operator

Your missions:

  • Manage the physical flow of incoming and outgoing goods within the warehouse.
  • Carry out loading, unloading and transfer operations in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper storage and preservation of products.
  • Identify and report quality or safety anomalies.
  • Participate in inventories and stock control.

 

Your key activities:

  • Strictly follow the instructions of your line manager and current safety regulations.
  • Operate handling equipment (forklifts, overhead cranes) and ensure daily maintenance.
  • Check, inventory and guarantee the conformity of goods received and dispatched (purchase orders, transport documents).
  • Use IT and traceability tools: package scanning, document generation, management of physical and digital flows, especially with subcontracting.
  • Prepare shipments, plan routes and load trucks.
  • Ensure truck weighing at entry and exit of the site.
  • Respect and optimise storage areas, maintaining cleanliness and order in the workspace (occasional use of ride-on floor scrubber).
  • Manage the flow of trays in maturation ovens linearly and safely using the overhead crane.
  • Participate in inventories, manage stock anomalies and oversee subcontracted stock.
  • Suggest improvements in warehouse operations.
  • Support and train new employees.

 

Your profile:

  • Holder of a Category 3 forklift licence.
  • Good knowledge of product storage regulations.
  • Skilled in IT management tools (traceability, inventory management, production data entry, etc.).
  • Vigilant regarding safety instructions and regulations.
  • Comfortable managing flows in coordination with production, logistics, and quality teams.
