Area Sales Manager – South East UK

Mission
To promote Exlabesa Building Systems’ product portfolio among the existing customer base and create new business opportunities in the South East region. To enhance customer loyalty by providing exceptional service at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers to increase loyalty.

  • Communicate regularly with current clients.

  • Proactively seek new customers and sales opportunities in line with the marketing strategy and sales plan.

  • Maintain and grow sales volumes, ensuring achievement of regional sales targets.

  • Forecast potential sales volumes across both existing and new clients.

  • Present new and existing products to customers, ensuring they are properly trained.

  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and developing solutions in direct contact with the Quality and Customer Service departments.

  • Liaise with the Accounts department to ensure customers comply with payment and credit terms.

  • Work closely with the Technical department to ensure effective management and problem resolution.

  • Provide timely reports and customer visit records using the company CRM.

  • Gather market intelligence and prepare monthly sales reports.

  • Support and uphold company working practices and procedures.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the windows and glazing sector.

  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and best practices.

  • Knowledge of Logikal (Business Micros) or other window and door software would be an advantage.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

  • A genuine understanding of the ethics of teamwork.

  • Highly motivated and results-oriented professional.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Experience managing a sales territory.

  • Ability to work on own initiative.

  • Work closely with all teams at Exlabesa Building Systems’ headquarters in Doncaster (South Yorkshire).
