Accounts Receivable and Treasury Accountant
Your responsibilities:

Position reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Maintain daily contact with clients.

Interact daily with the Sales, Quality, and Shipping departments.

Have direct contact with credit insurance organisations.
Key responsibilities:
-
Be responsible for a group of client accounts.
-
In collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, analyse clients’ creditworthiness.
-
Maintain relationships with financial information and credit insurance organisations to set risk limits and manage exceptions.
-
Open accounts by verifying clients’ documentation and solvency.
-
Handle client complaints and issue credit notes for the entire customer base.
-
Be versatile and work collaboratively with different members of the accounts receivable team.
-
Record financial transactions in the company’s accounting system.
-
Monitor payments, checking transfers, amounts, and processing times.
-
Follow up on outstanding balances, issue reminders, and manage debt recovery in cases of late or missed payments.

Apply customer payments and process bank deposits.
-
Manage treasury accounts: monitor balances, transfers, reconciliations, etc.
-
Support the Finance Department with statutory reporting.

Assist in group reporting.
Your profile:
-
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management (equivalent to Bac to Bac+3).

2 to 5 years’ experience in accounts receivable, treasury management, or a similar role.

Good knowledge of accounting standards and treasury management techniques.

Organised, meticulous, and able to demonstrate firmness.
-
Strong listening skills and aptitude for dispute resolution.
-
Proficient in office software and, ideally, in an accounting ERP system and AS400.

Expected personal qualities: rigour, organisation, autonomy, and versatility.
