Forklift Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to carry out the day-to-day activities associated with a busy external storage yard. This includes receiving, counting and locating stock using a forklift truck or combi-lift truck. Picking and preparing customer orders accurately ensuring that high levels of quality are maintained. Loading vehicles in drop sequences whilst complying with stringent health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely and challenge unsafe practices
  • Plan the day to optimise output levels
  • Communicate effectively
  • Drive a counterbalance forklift and side-loader to a high standard
  • Maintain stock accuracy by picking accurately
  • Flexibility to work overtime to fulfil customer requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Forklift Driver in a warehouse environment
  • M2 licence required (please, attach copy of the licence to CV)

Schedule

Weekly rotating shifts.

  • Morning shift: 6 am to 2 pm Monday to Thursday and 6 am to 1 pm on Friday
  • Afternoon shift: 2 pm to 10 pm Monday to Thursday and 1 pm to 8 pm on Friday
